Pupils from the past come back to visit their old school in this charming animation made by children at Abbey Primary School in Shaftesbury, Dorset.
Working with film maker Alastair Nisbet, students from reception to year six in the School Council have researched, drawn, animated and voiced this short film.
Storytelling through animation helps children develop a broad range of cross-curricular skills from literacy to art and drama, computer skills to critical and cultural appreciation.
Using a school register dating back to 1912, they picked two ex-pupils, former domestic servant May Gumbleton and wartime evacuee Albert Goldfinch to bring on a tour of the school today.
While many things are new and different, the visitors find that the school's core values remain unchanged.
