This film explores the complex connections between culture, economics and the environment in regards to the preservation of Maryland's blue crab. The film follows waterman, Don Pierce on a morning crab harvest in the Chesapeake Bay. Pierce discusses both his passion and the hardships of his trade, and explains that in order to maintain the industry, all consumers of blue crab need to be held accountable, not just commercial watermen.
