Whether it's summer or any other time of the year, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department offers a FREE service to make sure your home is safe when you go on vacation. Just let us know when you're leaving and our Senior Volunteer Patrol (SVP) will perform vacation checks while you're gone.

Signing up for FREE vacation checks is easy. Just complete and return a vacation check form on sdsheriff.net to your nearest Sheriff's Station or Substation. You must live within the jurisdiction of the Sheriff's Department to take advantage of this service.
