A video clip filmed with the Canon EOS 550D / Rebel T2i using its 1080 / 30fps HD video mode, and illustrating a shallow depth-of-field effect with selective focusing.
The clip was filmed with the 550D / Rebel T2i in Manual exposure mode, mounted on a tripod, using the EF-S 18-135mm kit lens, zoomed-in, with IS disabled. The aperture was set to f5.6, the shutter to 1/30 and the ISO to 1600. The focus was then manually adjusted.
Some jerkiness in the clip may be due to the re-encoding and presentation here, so please do download the original for a proper evaluation.
Check out our other clips filmed outdoors moments apart using the five HD video modes to compare resolutions and frame rates.
