“Balagan” is a Hebrew word meaning “craziness,” as we took our normal morning schedule and turned it completely upside down! Based on comments from our 2013 Camper Satisfaction Insights survey, we knew that many families felt that campers did not have enough input into the activities they participate in at camp.
With that in mind, we created Boker Balagan! Each balagan morning, all of camp will have three hours of programming selected by campers: either two 90-minute activities, or one 3 hour option. This will give campers the opportunity to try different activities on camp and spend more time on them than they might otherwise get to during Shabbat mini-chugim.
This video was created by campers who chose to spend their Boker Balagan shooting & editing video with our videography specialist. Enjoy!
