I believe that every object on this planet has a particular destiny, which is a natural path of life that contains its beginning, development, and ending. This path is inevitable and we just have to go with the flow in order to fulfill our destiny. When an object or a person is going with the flow aimlessly and effortlessly, such status appears as a reflection of infinity.
I have spent the last two years developing this spiritual journey. In the last semester I discovered that clay demonstrates the best example of infinity based on the irregular form of this material. I am able to construct and destroy the same piece of clay as many times as I like before I send it to the kiln. On the other hand, I see changing clay into ceramics as a violation of nature since its natural purpose cannot be served when we fix the shape of the material. Pottery means more than making objects as the possession of a bowl or a vase does not interest me. Instead, I prefer to own the interactive process with the material as a memory or by way of photography.
