An easy-going nature, solid conformation, and three good quality gaits are just the beginning to Denver’s appeal. He has already earned many high-scores and impressive results in the show ring including wins at the prestigious Dressage at Devon and finishing as Reserve Champion in USDF Year-End standings.

Denver is by the Grand Prix dressage stallion Donarweiss GGF (DeNiro-Hohenstein). Donarweiss was Champion of his 30-day test, earning all scores of 8 or higher and was rewarded a 9 for rideability. Donarweiss has won USDF Regional Championships, multiple USDF/AHS All-Breeds Awards through the FEI levels. With Genay Vaughn, Donarweiss won the Team Silver at the North American Young Rider Championships and was the 2013 Reserve Champion in the Brentina Cup Championships.

Denver is out of the Elite Hanoverian mare Raj Mahal HTF (Royal Prince-Donnerhall). Her dam, Primavera, was the 1992 Champion of the Oldenburg Elite Mare Show, the winner of the Riding Championships at Rastede, and was third at the Bundeschampionat that same year. Raj Mahal’s sire, Royal Prince, was the Reserve Champion of both his 30 & 70-day Performance Tests. He was 4th at the World Championships for Young Horses as a five-year old and has been a consistent winner through Prix St. Georges.

Like many of the Donarweiss offspring, Denver is intelligent, easy to train, and seems to enjoy the busy show atmosphere with an excellent composure. He has excellent ground manners and is easy to work with. We anticipate he’ll mature to 16.1 hands. Denver reminds us a lot of his parents in their early years and we feel he’s an excellent prospect to develop in the coming years. He is offered for sale at this time as we are keeping our fillies of a similar age and don’t have time to start them all.
