Interactive sound installations in the Kaisaniemi botanical garden
Artists: Tuomas Ahva, Ava Grayson, Gabriela Juganaru, Karina Korsgaard Jensen, Taavi Varm
Advisors: Mila Moisio, Till Bovermann
Students of the 2014 tangible auditory interfaces course at Aalto University created interactive objects of felt, speakers, moss and electronics.
When visiting on a sunny day, you could find these objects hanging and growing. Visitors were invited to play and listen to them. Touch and deformation created sonic reactions.
Many thanks to Gabriela Juganaru for editing and most of the footage.
