Xero online accounting lets you connect straight to your bank account and bring in the activity automatically – so you always have a complete, up-to-date view of your business.
To get started, make sure you've set up the bank account – Xero will let you know if bank feeds are available for your bank.
Next, click 'Get Bank Feeds' and you'll be directed to a login page to connect Xero with your internet banking. A secure connection is established through banking solution provider Yodlee. Within minutes your transactions are automatically imported into your online accounting.
Where we have a direct partnership with the bank you will be taken to the Xero Help Center. From here you can download and complete your bank's form and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. They'll have you up and running within 10 working days,
Once your bank feeds are connected with your online accounting, your transactions will be waiting for you the next time you log in to Xero. With a few clicks, the day's activity will be recorded and reconciled in one swoop.
