Chake Ou is a Disaster Risk Reduction project in the vulnerable Bañado Sur district of Paraguay's capital Asuncion, funded by The European Commission's Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection Office (ECHO) and implemented by Oxfam, Plan, UNDP, SEN, Finnish and Paraguayan Red Cross.
"Chake Ou" means "Be Prepared" in Guarani, Paraguay's second official language.
