This is the story of Polish children deported to Siberia by the USSR, who ended up in refugee camps in Africa during World War 2. Through an odyssey from Poland to Siberia, through the Middle East, Asia and Africa, their entire lives have been marked by memories of a journey that they still struggle to make sense of, but which the rest of the world has forgotten.
