We are using the rights of property to ethically question the wealth distribution within British/Australian society. Within this work we use a doll’s house to signify our hopes and dreams and to identify our desire for home ownership, for stability, for our identity, yet to also allude to the unattainable. The doll’s house constructs a metaphorical play between the ‘real’ and the ‘make believe’ where the interiors are surreal in nature, and reflect an Alice in Wonderland fantasy for the viewer.
