This was shot last summer at my girlfriend's aunt's cabin on the Northfork river in Oregon. We actually drove up in the evening, got there and then realized that nobody had a key. We ended up breaking in through a window. Pretty sweet.
A few things; All these shots are jittery and janky as hell, and a vast majority of them are out of focus. In this case, I actually think it lends itself a bit to the "home movie/family vacation" feel of it. But still, it's a bit too much. I've tweaked my rig and equipment quite a bit since I recorded this, so I'm pumped to put something together that doesn't look like it's being filmed by a baboon in an earthquake.
