Rochester, NY born, Adam Vazquez has been working in film/video industry different capacities in the Greater NYC area from– casting, writing, script supervising, producing, assistant directing, as well as directing. With a degree Film/Video from School of Visual Arts, his experience in the industry ranges from independent feature films, event videos, short films, corporate videos, marketing videos, spec videos, web series, and commercials. Notably serving as the script supervisor for the awarding-winning feature film Wallabout, the casting director for the upcoming feature film A Christmas Karol. Adam has produced marketing videos for brands such as Leather Spa, Sprite, Downy, and the Chelsea Film Festival. With a focus on new media production, he produced the successful Indiegogo crowd sourcing video for the transmedia web series Southern Dish. The campaign surpassed their financial funding goal, and he went onto produce the web series. Most recently, an article about “Southern Dish” was featured in the Huffington Post. Adam wrote, produced, directed the awarding-award winning short film “Keep Me Safe” which has been featured in the Katra Film Series, Videology Local Filmmaker Showcase “Select Short”, a Fall 2014 Series at NewFilmmakers NY. Additionally, he has been an ongoing guest speaker about the new media & film production at both LIU Brooklyn and LIM College. Currently, he is the managing director and a producer Blue Jean Entertainment, which serves both as a photo/video studio and video production company.
