This was totally a 2 person, low budget operation from start to finish.
The client, Central Va Waste Management Authority, had some ideas based on the line 'stop treating the recyclables like garbage'. So we had the recyclables deliver that message themselves. I am going through an "analog" phase after a a couple of months of solid DIGITAL production (no new shoots, just older materials and manufactured materials). So I built the whole project from scratch, from scripts, to puppets/set, and edited. Tim Ireland handled the milk jug and can performance, and I did the paper guy. There are 3-15sec versions where each puppet gets a solo and has some factoids about recycling (coming later). The client is really likes what we've done, and we love that they are so open to new ideas.
For me, its a nice little break from making car and furniture ads.
