CLASSICBANDS DOT COM said: "Linden Hudson co-wrote much of the material on the ZZ Top ELIMINATOR album".
(Linden was never given credit for his work on this multi-platinum record album)
Quote: David Blayney (15 years as ZZ Top stage manager) in his book SHARP DRESSED MEN said: "Linden Hudson in a fair world should have had his name all over ELIMINATOR and gotten the just compensation he deserved. Instead he got ostracized."
FROM THE BOOK: “SHARP DRESSED MEN — ZZ TOP” BY DAVID BLAYNEY: (page 227): The song “Legs” Linden Hudson introduced the pumping synthesizer effect.

ABOUT THIS TUTORIAL:
Tutorial by Linden Hudson
Linden: Film/video sound engineer of 25 years experience
This tutorial discusses a feature that is available on many video/film style portable field audio mixers. Some of the sound and dialogue that is recorded by the sound man on a video shoot is outside in windy conditions. Assuming all has been done to shield the microphone properly, a person should also consider cutting off some of the low end with a low cut filter which is built into each mic input of many models of field mixers. Two models are shown in the video. One shown is a cheapo but workable mixer the other (442) is a high end and popular mixer. The very low end of dialogue will not be missed, will make the track sound less muddy, and will help with wind noise. Trust me. DO NOT BE AFRAID, GO INTO THE LIGHT, CUT SOME LOW END OFF.
