This is a trailor for the upcoming documentary about naturalist John Muir. Born in Dunbar, Scotland, Muir came to America at the age of 11. From his boyhood home on the Family farm in Wisconsin, to a 1,000 mile walk to the Gulf of Mexico, Muir was always surrounded by Nature. Blinded in an industrial accident, Muir regained his sight, pledging to study and preserve the works of Nature instead of Man. Upon his arrival in California, Muir devoted the next 40 years of his life to preserving the giant Sequoia trees and the dramatic landscapes of the High Sierra Mountains. His work influenced President Teddy Roosevelt to create Yosemite National Park, while his writings helped begin the modern nature conservation movement.
