created by Trevor, Kyla, Diego and Jeffrey for Ben Kinsley's "Artist's Perspective: Video Art" course at American University (Spring 2013) in response to the following assignment:
SINGLE SHOT VIDEO
In groups of 3-4, choreograph and enact a scene staged entirely for the camera which will be captured on video in one single, continuous shot. This may take the form of a static shot (camera in one position) around which all activities revolve or this may involve moving the camera through sets and scenes using a dolly, steady-cam, or handheld tracking shot. No postproduction is permitted beyond capturing and exporting as a stand-alone quicktime movie for critique. Sound is optional, but should be used where it is important for the scene. Audio postproduction (foley sound, soundtrack, etc.) is allowed.
