As far as color grading and music selection, I tried a couple things more outside more comfort zone. In the realm of music, I am a big White Zombie/Rob Zombie fan, but typically shy away from that genre of music for moto edits as it is often over-played and, well...annoying. However, I felt if I was going to go this route I should at least make it an old school Zombie track instead of the standard metal, bro-brah music many bands are producing these days, and video gurus are complimenting with their work. Quite frankly, I am very pleased with the music selection and feel it works quite well.
As for coloring, I decided to go for more of the tinted/saturated look, which is something I don't often do. Preferably, I like to remove quite a bit of the saturation courtesy of Magic Bullet Mojo, but decided to switch it up a bit for this edit and let the colors "pop" a bit more than I usually do.
As for the footage itself, the outdoor content we filmed only a couple of days ago at Competitive Edge MX Park. The Supercross content at the KTM Test Track was filmed at the beginning of the year and is footage that I've been sitting on for quite while that I decided to put to good use. Hope you all enjoy. Thanks!
