Repetition and carryover are two BIG goals for students who are not in complete control of their speech, language, and motor function. What better time to reinforce all these skills, with a collaborative team to shape the lesson, than breakfast? Breakfast is motivating (food!). Breakfast happens every day (or should). Breakfast is a common daily activity that lends itself to anticipating routines.

The Trans-Disciplinary team devised a breakfast routine that covers all areas, custom fit for the students in this class. The benefits extend to language, literacy, socialization, organization of ideas, and a safe routine in which to try out new skills and hone old ones.
