Here's a rebrand I did for Food Network while a student at Otis College of Art & Design in Los Angeles.
The concept here is that Food Network has tastes of everything--from different cultures to different foods, hole in the walls to the hottest new places. Visually, taste is the absence of something; if there is no piece missing, nobody has enjoyed it yet. Thus, the bite.
