One of three short video clips of grouse courtship behaivior. These videos were shot in late May on the Delta Junction Agricultural Project. They reveal the unique and varied calls and behavior of male sharp-tailed grouse during the breeding season. Males dance and display on a communal lek to attract a female early in the morning. While on the lek they exhibit a variety of calls, tail rattling, foot stomping, and wing posturing. Video by Rick Merizon.
