In early May, I went to Toronto for a wonderful photo-journalism workshop with Magnum photographer Stuart Franklin. For one week, I was to shoot and edit my own ‘assignment,’ and then come back each and every day for more classroom work and critique.
The resulting audio-slideshow, Toronto: Underground, is a surreptitious look at the subway and its commuters, and how isolated we often become during our daily routines of motion.
Many thanks to my friend Michael Primmer, who did a wonderful mix.
