This is my first attempt to simulate an animated fractured material using DMM and SOuP for maya 2012.

The debris (nParticle + Instances) are generated just on the new generated faces with a specific particles emitter (thank Olivier from Pixelux to share his script :).
The inherit velocity on the debris is generated by a pointCloudField (from SOuP plugin) using the "column" shape as source.
