Our friends at BBDO came to us with a challenge. How can we show all the features of this tricky new device in the most captivating way? We opted for one seamless take of highly stylized realism. To cinematically showcase all of the phone’s features, we tell the story of an illusionist through a series of fans, cuts, flips, and flourishes. We based our moves on the actual sleights of hand that master card-smiths have been dazzling audiences with for years. Although visually we walk the line between fantasy and reality, in the end we are here to tell a story. That is what this spot clearly demonstrates - form and function working hand in hand.
We also have another spot for the new and improved version of the Blackjack II. In order to represent the devices full bag of tricks, we channeled Inspector Gadget and his many robotic arms.
