I got a chance to hang with renowned photographer David Alan Harvey after the Lucie Awards in Beverly Hills. David and son Bryan won a Lucie for their upcoming photo book about Rio, "Based on a True Story" (vimeo.com/42015234).
The father/son team seem to do nothing but travel the globe and create photographic and filmic art. David has shot over 40 essays for National Geographic, and he has been a part of the elite photographic collective Magnum since 1997. Bryan shoots for the Geographic and Discovery Network as well as his own personal projects.
Next, they are taking a Winnebago up the Western coastline before departing overseas to Europe and beyond. Team Harvey lead a nomad life of the highest order, and I hope to cross paths with them again soon.
