The legendary guitarist Preston Shannon applies for years as the "King of the Memphis Blues". He himself calls his music Shuffle Boogie Soul, a blend of the styles of Otis Redding, Bobby Womack, the Kings: BB., Albert and Freddy, t-Bone Walker and Little Milton.

Preston was born in Mississippi and also denies its delta-roots not. Funky, raw deepsoulblues, uptempo songs and ballads. During his performance, he was assisted by "Fat Harry & the Fuzzy Licks", who added hammond and blazers. Special is that bass legend Henry Oden, he played in a career of more than 40 years with, among others, Jimmy Reed, John Lee Hooker, Big Mama Thornton and Bill Withers.
