Calligrapher and text artist Brody Neuenschwander lives in Bruges, but its name suggests that he has foreign roots. He grew up in Houston, Texas in the United States. Brody studied art history at Princeton University and the Courtauld Institute in London. He studied calligraphy at the Roehampton Institute and he became the assistant to Donald Jackson. From 1988 he worked as a freelance calligrapher, first in Britain and now in Bruges. We had the honor to film Brody for the educational Project MIKADO (Pelckmans publisher).
