A 5x5 video is when you take five random clips of exactly five seconds each and organize them into a twenty-five second video. This was the Weekend Project Challenge the week I happened to be recording the Shekinah Band practicing for Shekinah on Sunday, June 7th, so I thought I'd turn five of the clips into an entry for the project. Turns out it's hard to take exactly-five-second-long clips of music and put them side by side and not have it sound wrong.
Shot with a Canon T2i with 50mm f/1.4 lens, wide open at 1.4 and handheld manual focus for each shot. No color correction, all footage is right out of the camera. Sound was from an attached shotgun mic, but due to the lack of audio level adjustments on the T2i, there was still a lot of clipping.
