For a number of weeks we have been working our way through the doctrine of inspiration, that is that the Bible is inspired by God. That it is infallible, that is it is true in all that it affirms and teaches, that it is inerrant, that is that every word of God is pure. This is the true Word of God contained in the 66 books of the Bible.

The natural man apart from the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit, no matter how much evidence you give him about the veracity and validity of Scripture does not have the capacity in the darkness of his unbelief to believe the Bible. It is a work of the Spirit of God. But to those of us who have had that work done in our hearts who understand that the Word of God is in fact the true Word of the living God. It is important for us to be further strengthened and encouraged by the evidences that that which we believe is in fact true....
