We've been talking about Paul's gospel, the gospel according to Paul. And I confess to you that this is a great challenge for me to try to narrow this down to a few subjects. And in all honesty, I'm kind of vacillating a little bit. Kind of changing my mind, if it's okay here and there, so you'll have to bear with me a little.
Tonight I want you...I want you to open your Bible back to 2 Corinthians and I want to go to chapter 5, 2 Corinthians chapter 5. We have talked about the glory of the gospel. We've actually talked about the nature of the gospel in our two sessions this morning, digging down into the doctrine of justification. That the nature of the gospel is that the righteousness of God has to come down and it is received by faith and it is a gift of grace and that's how salvation takes place. We've talked about that.
It is a glorious gospel. It is a substitutionary gospel as we saw this morning, going to see a little more about that tonight. But I want you to understand this concept of reconciliation. It is a reconciling gospel. The gospel reconciles the sinner to God....
