Marcell Payton, who became involved in gang activity at a young age, shares his story after completely turning his life around with the help of mentor Frank McGhee, director of the Neighborhood Service Organization's Youth Initiatives Project.

Marcell's grade point average has risen from a 1.9 to a 3.5 GPA at Osborn Evergreen Academy of Design, Technology & Alternative Energy and is a promising youth leader and voice against gun violence in his community. From Detroit's east side.
