Alessio Ballerini is a filmmaker and musician. In 2010, he founded AIPS (Archivio Italiano Paesaggi Sonori) together with Francesco Giannico. The two also founded Oak Editions, an art music label, in 2013.
He played and realized video and sound projects presented at galleries, museums, festivals and others events: Cafè Oto, Sonicueb, Museum of contemporary Craft, C(h)orde, Robot, Acusmatiq, Flussi, Node, Maxxi, Pastificio Cerere, Adiacenze, Galleria civica di Modena, Castello Malaspina, Castel Sant’Elmo.
He has collaborated and shared the stage with musicians and artists like Alva Noto, Lawrence English, Oval, Retina, Enrico Coniglio, Senking, Erik Skodvin, Giuseppe Cordaro, Francesco Giannico, Pietro Riparbelli.
