Alison is an Italian-American filmmaker. Although her film plots are fictional, the characters and the scenarios in which are placed are very close to our reality, a gritty and sometimes absurdly funny reality. The film narrative is not really concerned with a chronological development of events, but more likely about the display of the variety of human nature, the relationships between people. After Graduating in 2010 with a degree in Set Design Alison has worked in New York as an Assistant Director and producer on shorts and two indie features: "Privacy" and ''Annunciacion - a triptych''.
In 2012 she moved to New Orleans where she's been producing and directing short films and music videos.
Alison holds in great regard and finds inspiration from Aki Kaurismäki, Andrei Tarkovsky, Jim Jarmusch, Kubrick, Hitchcock, Fellini and many others.
Recently two of her short films made into the New Orleans Film Festival under the Louisiana shorts category: "The Flight of the Bumblebee" in 2014, "My wife thinks you're dead" in 2015.
