I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Algiers, Algeria.
In summer 2005 my life took a 180 degrees turn. I was an engineering student at the prestigious National Polytechnic School of Algiers for a year but at the end of that year a series of powerful omens and signs brought me to the United States within a month and a half.
I was 18 when I left everything behind me to enroll at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, IA for a business degree. I ended up taking a double major in Communication/media and business which I'm still working on right now.
A year ago, I was in Algiers for the summer and I was asked by family friend and famed artist Malek Salah to create a film for his artist statement for the inaugural exhibit at the first modern art museum of Algeria and Arabic speaking countries.
I subtitled the film and sent it to two film festivals where I won in the student category for both.
I had the privilege to show the film to the film director David Lynch and ended up working on the creation of the new David Lynch Foundation online TV channel. DLF.TV
