ANNAMARIA KARDOS graduated with a BA (Hons) Fine Art from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, London, UK (2008). She has participated in a number of group and solo exhibitions, including; Core Gallery, Deptford X Exhibition, London (2010), Seeing in the Dark, The Fletcher Centre, Rye, UK (2012), Zeitgeist Open Exhibition, ZAP, Bondhouse Project Space (2012), POPPOSITIONS, George Major dot com, Brussels, Belgium (2013), SCORE, Catalyst Arts at Linenhall Arts Centre, Belfast, UK (2013), System & Strategy / Nomadology / Ordinary, Open Plan exhibitions, Departure Foundation, London, UK (2013) and Art:Language:Location, Cambridge, UK (2013). Kardos was pre-selected for the Threadneedle Prize for Painting and Sculpture (2011) and selected for the Salon Art Prize, Matt Roberts Arts, London, UK (2011) and Title Art prize (2013), Blank Media Collective, Manchester. She took part in VERB 12HRS#2 project, BLANKSPACE, Manchester, UK (2013). Much of her work is created during residencies with various institutions.
