BC Gallery for Urban and Contemporary Arts
is a newly Berlin based outlet for high-end urban and
contemporary art to feature regular solo and group exhibition
by internationally renowned urban artists.
In late 2012, street art aficionado Nick Bargezi and Los Angeles based gallery owner Seth Carmichael had one of those long nights full of art talk.
Sharing the same passion and personal taste, the concept for a Berlin based outlet for high end urban and contemporary art outlasted the massive hangover. A classy but down-to-earth spot totally dedicated to the culture was the way to go for a cool place where internationally renowned artists and collectors can come together and feel comfortable.
Well, Berlin people are known for their extraordinary drive and entrepreneurship so only a couple of months later, here we go…
Located in the center of Berlin’s culture magnet Friedrichshain, BC Gallery has its headquarters in a brand new top-of-the-line gallery space at Libauer Strasse and a breathtaking off-location on the famed RAW strip, home to many of Berlin’s underground clubs, galleries and culture spots – and some great murals.
As for now, BCG will host up to six solo exhibitions per year plus some surprise projects we have up our sleeves.
