Beth Balaban is a Director, Producer, Editor and Director of Photography in the Boston area. Since 2010, she has worked with Director Beth Murphy and the Principle Pictures team on a wide variety of non-fiction projects, She is currently co-producing WHAT TOMORROW BRINGS and DAKOTA DREAM. Beth is also co-directing, co-producing and photographing SON OF SAICHI, a feature-length project based in Japan.
Beth is the Co-founder and Chair of The Non-Fiction Cartel, a working collaborative that supports and creates short form documentary in New England. She also works as a Teaching Fellow at the Harvard Extension School for video production and editing courses. Her academic background includes a B.A. in psychology from Boston University and an M.F.A. in media arts from Emerson College.
