BILLY SHEBAR wrote the screenplay for DARK MATTER (2007), starring Meryl Streep, which won the Alfred P. Sloan Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. He has written, directed and produced documentaries and series for major networks including PBS ("America by the Numbers," "History Detectives"), DISCOVERY ("King Tut Unwrapped"), A&E ("The First 48"), and TNT ("Boston's Finest"). He has also created films for start-ups and nonprofits, including the Robin Hood Foundation, the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation, and Columbia University. Shebar is a summa cum laude graduate of Harvard and a Marshall Scholar.
