Once upon a September, we attended the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and handed $10,000 nest eggs to filmmakers to build their distribution homes on Vimeo On Demand. And starting today, you can stream, download, and preorder a number of terrific films and documentaries directly from our shiny new TIFF Collection on Vimeo On Demand.

We’re psyched to be supporting such amazing creators, and to welcome their incredible films to our Vimeo On Demand family. We hope you'll give them all a look, but here's a quick sampling:

Ingrid Veninger’s The Animal Project
A theater director struggles to connect with his son. Meanwhile, his cast partakes in a bizarre exercise involving animal costumes.

Yannis Sakaridis’ Wild Duck
A pair of telecom engineers set out to investigate hacker activity and wind up making a scandalous discovery.

Shayne Ehman’s and Seth Scriver’s Asphalt Watches
Bucktooth Cloud and Skeleton Hat make their way to Canada in this hilarious and harrowing full-length animated adventure.

Terry Miles’ and Double Dutch Media’s Cinemanovels
An estranged daughter helps to create a retrospective of her deceased father’s work, and finds herself strangely inspired.

Biyi Bandele's Half Of A Yellow Sun
In this film starring Twelve Years A Slave's Chiwetel Ejiofor, a wealthy Nigerian family is caught amidst romantic entanglements, a violent civil war, and betrayal.

All of these films (and lots more) are available to stream and download exclusively on Vimeo On Demand.
