Bluescreen host an Open Screen Independent Walk-in Film Programme at The Cube Cinema in Bristol, England, screening Short Films by Bristolian Filmmakers, since 2001.
We screen Amateur & Pro Filmmaker alike. You Just need to turn up with your film(s) on DVD or USB at one of our events and we will screen them! Simple as that!
DVD - Films should be playable in a DVD Player (ie. not a data file) and bring a back up disk if you can.
USB - Digital Film Files should be clearly marked with your name, film title and our name - BLUESCREEN, so it can be quickly found by our projectionist.
Films should be no longer than 20mins in length.

We have an Orchestra! The Cube Orchestra re-soundtracks a couple of films from the burgeoning Bluescreen Film Archive, at most events now!
We have DJs! Bluescreen Hi-Fi DJs in the bar throughout the evening!
We also dig into the Archive to re-screen classic films from past Bluescreens!

We have screened films at Festivals in the UK and Europe and USA and hosted other film related events at The Cube & helped organise the Bristol Filmmakers Festival 2008 and programmed a 10 year retrospective at Encounters Short Film Festival 2011.

Bluescreen are available for screening your Short Films/Live Soundtracking/Collaborating & Festival Screenings.
