Growing up home-schooled in Minnesota, I was always working with my hands, wether it was through drawing, playing music, building Legos, or working on my car. Filmmaking seemed a natural direction considering my natural eye for aesthetics, my ear for music, and my hand for technical things. I've always been a storyteller.
I now have a BA in Art and Filmmaking, a degree I custom-built for myself at Bethel University in Minnesota. Spring of my Junior year I was in L.A. for a semester at the Los Angeles Film Studies Center (LAFSC) for hollywood-style film school training and a rental house internship. The Fall semester of my Senior year I was in NYC through Bethel's art department program, the New York Center for Art and Media Studies (NYCAMS) making my own films and interning with a documentary filmmaker.
