Carlo Olivares Paganoni is a director based out of Los Angeles, California. Originally from Mexico, Carlo began his career as a creative at Cartoon Network and later attended Art Center College of Design, in Pasadena, where he studied film.
His short film "Cardboard Camera" received accolades and recognition from several international film festivals but, most importantly, it won an Emmy® College Television Award given by the Emmy Foundation. His work as a commercial director has also been recognized by the AICP and ADDY awards.
He was also Executive Producer of Santo Contra Los Clones, based on the Silver Masked Wrestler at Cartoon Network Studios.
As a Director his work has been recognized by the ©Emmy Student Awards, ADDY and AICP Awards, as well as several film festivals, such as LA Shorts Fest, International Family Film Festival, Big Bear Like International Film Festival, "Cortos de Yahoo!" Yahoo en Español and San Diego Latino Film Festival.
"Cardboard Camera" also aired on PBS as part of the "PBS-KVCR Shorts Showcase" Festival.
As a Creative, his work has been recognized by Cannes Lions, The One Show, Art Directors Club, The New York Festivals, FIAP, HOW, Ad Age Hispanic Awards, Círculo de Oro México, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, LIMA Licensing Awards, Promax Latin America & Promax BDA.
He has also developed several animated series, including Bobots and Charlie Box Flyer, as well as pitched shows to Cartoon Network Studios, Nickelodeon, Disney and Hasbro's "The Hub" Network.
Carlo is currently Writer/Producer for Disney XD On-Air.
