1. Inspired by the great neon signs inside the famous Pike's Place Market, this was created for the Seattle Mariners for their 2017 season. These headshots are customized for each player and shown in-stadium to introduce the players as they come up to bat. This concept is the first one to introduce players during their home games, so it plays simultaneously on the huge main board and the various LED ribbon boards, with an alpha wiper to smoothly transition from the previous main board content.

    2. Main board + LED ribbon boards
    3. In-stadium view

Created for the (World Series Champion!) Kansas City Royals for their 2016 season. This headshot is customized for each player, and is shown in-stadium (with accompanying LEDs) to introduce the players as they come up to bat during every home game.

In the stadium, this element is accompanied by several LED boards, as displayed on the second play-through of the animation here on Vimeo. The CrownVision board displays only the middle portion of the file (a 720x720 square), but the full file is shown on other monitors throughout the stadium.

If you're in the KC area, get yourself to a Royals game, and you can see this over 100 feet tall on their CrownVision board!

  3. his is one of two player headshot concepts created for the Seattle Mariners for their 2016 season. These headshots are customized for each player, shown in-stadium to introduce the players as they come up to bat. The Mariners asked for an exciting, kinetic look to showcase highlight footage of each player. We worked with designer Ben Bullock to help us deal with this year's baseball season - he knocked it out of the park on this one! See more of his work at benbullockdesign.com.
