This video simulates the environment of the original installation, which use three video-projections combining shots of the same action, on different walls in a square room.
The work is based on an impossible situation: a woman who lives continuously hanged on a wall, defying the laws of gravity and the basic necessities of life. We –the spectators- don’t know if she is imprisoned, physically subdued or defeated by a larger force, or if she is subsumed by the weight of her own consciousness. The work present the “hanged women” in an immersive environment, where three synchronized video-projections combines different spaces and times of the same situation, moving from surrealistic scenes to an abstract style in the composition of frames.
