What is the value and purpose of prayer? Is it just to selfishly ask God to give us material wealth and blessings? Or are there greater values and purpose to prayer?
Why should we pray? Who does God listen to when they pray? How should we be if we want our prayers to "avail much"? What things can we pray about? Did Christ give us any guidelines? When is the best time to pray? Where should we pray? Which prayers does God really value and treasure?
All these questions and more are answered in this video sermon by Ken Murray, an ordained minister of Jesus Christ since 1982.
How does the Bible instruct us in using wise vision? What is the symbolic meaning of the last Holy Day of Unleavened Bread? Who is “The Rock” who led the Israelites out of Egypt? Is Jesus Christ God as our Father is God?
The answers to these important questions merge together to provide us with spiritual motivation to keep our vision on “The Rock”, the One who was the God of the Old Testament, and the One who was the “Logos”, who became Jesus Christ, the eternal living Son of God.

Acts Chapter 20 Bible Study, follows the Apostle Paul through Greece, Macedonia, Philippi where he kept Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread.
Then we travel south with Paul, Luke and leading ministers, to Troas for a meal and discussion, before walking with Paul on Sunday to Assos.
From Assos we sail with him to Mitylene, where he calls for the elders from the Ephesus Church of God, so that he can encourage them in their work, and warn them about false ministers who would lead brethren astray out of the Church.
It is a very emotional last farewell as Paul then leaves them to go to Jerusalem to keep Pentecost.
What is the meaning of Pentecost?
Why does God want us to keep Pentecost?
Is there an important connection with Pentecost and our personal salvation?
Who is the First of the Firstfruits? Who are the Firstfruits that follow and what is the vital meaning for you and me?
Pentecost falls in the time of the wheat harvest in the northern hemisphere. What is the symbolism of the harvest and our future?
This Bible Study on the important meaning of Pentecost covers these questions and more.
