This film is a collection of audiovisual moments and memories of a 3-week railway journey through Japan in 2015. We were whizzing through the country with the Shinkansen visiting Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima and Kyoto as well as lots of wonderful little places along the way, meeting the most friendly people and experiencing a culture that somehow balances its rich tradition with a very futuristic present.
Web documentary about San Francisco based photographer Joe Aguirre and his trip to Vejle, Denmark in the summer of 2015 where he shot photos for a book called "Ether".
Joe Aguirre uses his photography not only to provide commentary on places he has traveled, but also to illustrate his own story. He draws on multiple techniques to project his perception of the surroundings within his daily life. Joe currently resides in San Francisco, CA with his savannah cat, Icarus.
FILM IS SHOT ON SONY FS7 WITH CANON L AND LEICA M GLASS.
