My Care My Voice Initiative - Improving Care Experiences for
Individuals with Complex Chronic Conditions and Multimorbidities

Nova Scotia Health Quality Summit 2015:
A partnership between Nova Scotia Health Authority, IWK Health Centre and Department of Health and Wellness, the inaugural Quality Summit was held November 17-19, 2015 at six locations across the province in addition to being live broadcasted. The theme for this year's summit was “Strengthening Quality & Safety through Collaboration” and was a great opportunity to celebrate the outstanding work being done throughout the province.
Throughout the three day event, we heard from six opening remarks guest speakers, three closing remarks guest speakers and 34 oral presentations from local teams on the quality and safety initiatives. Approximately 300 people physically joined locations across the province and at the end of the event there were approximately 2900 visits to the broadcast website – an outstanding turn out for the first collaborative Summit! The event was a great success and we would like to thank everyone who contributed and participated!
