On my path towards healing i've learned in Taoism that i needed to learn how to breathe properly, which is a lifetime pursuit of observation and minding my emotional state. Then how to STAND properly, to STAND with INTEGRITY, always. After comes how to WALK properly, honoring our double toroidal field. Hands honor heaven, legs honor earth, meeting in our center, our heart. To me, believe it or not, walking is a very advanced practice. Done correctly and with mindfulness, walking massages our organs and circulates all of our energetic systems... hence the saying "walk it off." Birds fly, fishes swim, humans should walk more as a daily mindful practice.
This circle walking practice comes from Bagua. One of the many different variations of circle dances from all around the world. They have their differences and there are also some commonalities in all of these circles. Heres me creating one of these magic circles, under time lapse some of the magic almost start to reveal itself.
I can see that my form looks terrible and could use lots of improvement, but i feel much stronger after this session and i will continue my commitment of daily practice. Should be easier now with the grass and roots almost out. That was just creating the circle, next time maybe i'll show some of the "dance" forms around the circle.
