It was an all out scramble today as all four 2nd grade classes descended on the Edison courtyard to clean it up for Earth Day. This cooperative and fun-filled event was part of the the Earth Olympics at Edison Environmental Science Academy.
4th and 5th grade students compete in the solar event by building devices that will capture solar energy and heat a cup of water. The winner is the one that raises the temperature of the water the most in 8 minutes.
